I miss the way things were.

Dear Snake.

This is it, this is the last time I will try and be friends with you, the last time I will ever try to mend the bridges that have broken between us.

I wanted you to know that I am a Goddess once more and you do not have to fear that Solan will be taken from you. My god hood has be granted to me through other means, means that will not undo what I did, what I gave up for you to have your son.

No matter what I say or do I believe that we will never be friends, and losing my best friend is hard indeed, but nothing will stop the way I feel. I love you and nothing will ever change that, but I love Kailin too and I am going to marry him, I am going to have my own family with him. But this won’t change how I feel.

You need to understand that is is perfectly fine for my kind to love more than one person and if you cannot deal with this then you are not the person I thought you were. Snake, I’m not asking you for anything but your friendship, but I am not even sure you can give me that.

May the fates watch over you always and smile down upon you with a kind heart.

There were tears falling down her cheeks, she didn't know what else to do or who else to call. There were only two people she had the numbers of and only only could help. She dialled and got the answering machine.

"S-snake, I-it's Iris I...Oh god Snake...I...I can't do this I...I can't stop thinking about...I miss...I don't know how to find...c-can...t-tell him I...I lo...C-can you get a message t-to Kailin" soft sobbing, "I can't...he's always in my thoughts." The line went dead as the time on the message ran out.

I wish to thank with all of my heart the person who gave Iris a Clover and 6 months paid time. It means a lot to her and to me and whom ever it is I send you big hugs for making both myself and my muse feel the love.

She couldn't believe how cold this world felt, how cold and lonely. Even in this mortal state she had so many things and yet she had so few. Her heart felt as cold at the rest of her, even as it pumped the warm blood through her veins she felt nothing but the ice. Everything was lost to her, her best friend, the child she had thought of as a daughter, the man she was to marry.

This world she was cast to live in, powerless and lonely. Iris felt like a shell, a shadow of what she had once been and it was this way she would live out the days of Solan's life. It was then and only then that she would regain her powers.

But it didn't help her now, it didn't help against the cold bitter shell that had formed around her heart, that empty vessel that had once been filled with so much love.

Kailin was gone forever, Snake had this perfect life and Iris had nothing left. It was humbling. And it was cold, so cold she couldn't help but shiver as she walked through the streets of New York.

So here is the update, I'm not a Goddess any more. I'm mortal, just like everyone else and will be till...well, for a very long time. The reason I am telling you all this is because I cannot come to you now if you call my name, I can't just appear if you need me.

Things have changed and they have changed a lot.

I've moved too. Only one person Will knows where I live, apart from those of the gods, so do come looking for me because you wont find me.

So this is it, this is the Rainbow Goddess signing out and vanishing for a while, a mortal left in her stead.
